If you’ve been playing Genshin Impact for a while you might have heard of the best F2P team in the game. The team that can, with low-mid investment EASILY clear all Abyss floors and the team that is just all-around really good and diverse.
We are, in fact, talking about The Xiangling National. However, thepressedge the thing to note here is that the only important and must-have character in this team is obviously going to be Xiangling.
This guide will be informative and mostly focus on a very strong F2P team as mentioned above, so if you’re someone who wants to invest more into their teams and characters in Genshin, you can do that with U7BUY!
The Xiangling National
Why is this team so overpowered for being very low-investment? Well, it is mainly carried by our cute chef girl – Xiangling. And the best part about her is that she is a COMPLETELY free to play character. You can obtain her by beating Abyss Floor 3 Chamber 3!
The base team consists of:
- Xiangling – Very important. The team got its name after her, obviously.
- Xingqiu – can be changed with Yelan if you have her
- Bennet – Probably the best damage-boosting support in the game, but can be changed for an anemo character like Sucrose, or Kazuha for the elemental shred/spread, or Sayu for healing as well
- Chongyun – This spot is a flex spot, so you can basically put any character that would make sense even remotely. Raiden, Kuki, Rosaria, Kaeya, and many others can be placed here and the team would still work.
What Makes Xiangling So Strong
Xiangling is really overpowered because of only one of her abilities, and that is her elemental burst – Pyronado.
Pyronado spins around Xiangling or the current character for ten seconds straight, applying Pyro damage to all targets it hits and driving strong reactions like Vaporize in order to deal impressive amounts of damage to opponents.
If you can get her at C4, then that’s when it becomes even more overpowered than it already is. Her fourth constellation makes her Pyronado have a 40% longer duration, making it a whopping 14 seconds of uptime and only 6 seconds of downtime between cooldowns if you can fill her energy up by the time it’s off cooldown.
This doesn’t mean her other constellations are bad, either. Her C1 lowers the Pyro resistance of opponents that Guoba hits with its attacks and her C6 mainly benefits herself in this team comp, but it gives 15% more Pyro damage to all party members for the duration of Pyronado.
Xiangling Build
If you thought that was all – you’d be wrong. Xiangling is also incredibly easy to build for, requiring only massive amounts of ER and if you can get it – Crit Rate, Damage, and ATK%. She also needs one of the best Artifact sets in the game – Emblem of Severed Fate – which is also good on many other characters, so if you get some pieces that aren’t exactly for Xiangling, you can use them for someone else like Xingqiu.
Her best F2P weapon, although a bit of a grind, is the Polearm you can get from Fishing – The Catch
Final Thoughts
Xiangling is an incredible character that fits into so many different teams, most of them being some variation of the Xiangling National. She’s easily obtainable without any gacha luck involved, and if you can get her to C6 she can soar higher than most 5* characters. Incredibly cheap to build, her weapon is obtainable through no kind of grinding involved, and she’s simple to play.
However, if you’re not interested in F2P strategies and want to invest in your favorite 5* characters you’re going to want to invest some money into them and there’s no better way to buy Genshin Genesis Crystals with the premium currency than U7BUY!
