Have You Reached the Limit of UPI Payments Set by Your Bank?

There are several reasons why you might have reached the limit of UPI payments that your bank has set. These reasons include using the wrong UPI PIN, insufficient balance, and incorrect receiver details. Most banks also limit UPI transactions to a certain number of transactions per day. If you have reached this limit, try again after 24 hours or use a different bank account to process transactions.

The Reserve Bank of India and the National Payments Corporation of India regulate UPI transactions. To initiate a UPI transaction, you must have a mobile number registered with the bank. Once you have confirmed the UPI PIN, you can complete the transaction. There is also a limit to the amount of money that you can transfer from one bank account to another using UPI. This limit is Rs. 1 lakh per day.

Your bank may have set a daily or monthly limit for UPI transactions. These limits can vary depending on the bank and the app you are using. If you’ve reached your limit, you can request a reduction or wait until the next day to make additional payments.

Some banks also have a cooling-off period for UPI transactions. This period is designed to protect your account from unauthorized use. Your bank can set a limit for the number of UPI transactions you can make in a day or even per hour. This limit may change from one bank to another so make sure to check your account balance with your bank before making a payment.
